Super friendly and attentive staff. The beer on offer and the pork knuckle were more than worth the recommendation. Have been here for many years, hope for many more.

Delicious food, great restaurant and great service!

Always happy to go to the Berg brewery. But if you have to wait more than 1 hour for food for 2 people, then you are no longer hungry and even the not exactly "generous" portion of schnitzel with fries is too much

Great beer garden - directly on the street but in a great location. The beer can only be recommended my favorite the cheering beer. A highlight of the beer cellar where you can buy all beer at prices like in the drinks market. The food is delicious and the service is nice and courteous. We'd love to come back. The highlight is the free beer campaign for Corona registration.

Very lovingly furnished and very well maintained for a brewery restaurant. The food is very tasty, as you would expect in a restaurant of this type. The service was very courteous and friendly, we will be happy to come back.

The restaurant is very good. Very tasty food and the beer tastes sensational. Service is very nice and very quick. So all in all, I can 100% recommend the restaurant.

It used to be better! The former insider tip has got around ... Prices are constant, but unfortunately the food has been better. Which is certainly not due to the skill in the kitchen but to the amount required. I would like to see a little less hectic in the restaurant again.

Ordered pick-up food for 8 people today. When we picked it up, we only checked the number of containers, not the content. Unfortunately it was a big mistake. Onion roast should be done, but it was incredibly dry, burnt and tough. In addition, there was no sauce or onions. Very disappointing! The taste of the burger buns was from the day before yesterday. Hard and sticky. Furthermore, it would be great to somehow label the containers, especially if different cooking levels were ordered. All in all, incredibly poor quality for the price. We didn't expect that. Edit: The mountain beer team really tried to make it up for it. We thought that was really great. Hopefully we can add the last two stars on our next visit to get the 5 stars full :)

I'll make it short: great beer garden, nice atmosphere, friendly service, large selection of dishes, good quality food at reasonable prices. We recommend.

Today there were three of us in the brewery and had reserved a table. Everything was to our complete satisfaction. Great beer (Herbstgold and Jubelbier), good sausage salad and a very nice atmosphere. The redemption of an almost two-year-old voucher for € 25.00 also worked without any problems! The complaints about the menu cannot be fully understood, as we received the menu from the friendly wait staff when we ordered our drinks. I would love to come by again and I can recommend the brewery in Berg without hesitation, because the price / performance ratio is also good!

I would like to thank the entire team. I felt so cared for and in no way impaired. And the food was awesome. I often feel unwell after eating, which I absolutely did not have. So thank you again.

Great brewery restaurant, great service and great food with delicious beer-related products. The beer garden is fantastically beautiful. Spacious and with wonderful trees. Highly recommended, whether for a beer or more ... also very suitable for families with small children and cyclists.

Hello, we were in the Bergbrauerei Essen today. Everything is delicious again. I have to say, however, that I think it would be ideal if a real steak knife is served with the roast, only intended as a suggestion. I had to cut the roast with a normal knife, which wasn't ideal. Nevertheless, I can absolutely recommend the mountain brewery. 👍👍👍

It always feels like vacation when I visit the beer garden and enjoy the time. The whole area is just great. The beer tastes incredibly good. The 3-grain wheat is particularly recommended. Always great with you. Keep it up.

Really great place , food was very nice we were a party of three , two had haxen and one house spatzle. Beer was really nice and very reasonably priced. Great service.

Just great. So a fast, yet friendly and previously coming service from I have not experienced. Both the kitchen and the service work like a clockwork. We are hardly sat there since we had the drinks and the food was also super fast there despite special requests. The mixture of modern and traditional in the dining room show the love for the cause. Too bad that it is so far away from us.

Food is good but the Schnitzel wasn't as expected. Beer tastes good and could also purchase further bottles in the basement. But staff seems to be busy and not happy about as the attentions of them is not as expected

Excellent food, best Schweinshaxe that we had in Germany with a huge pigs knuckle and traditional potato salad that you can swap out with other sides. The Berg brewery tour is another highlight that goes through the history of the brewery while providing some sampling. Highly recommend the Ulrichs beer and the Weissens. Some of the wait staff does speak english and there are english menus but some things can get lost in translation at times.
